Nice mid-weight "goatskin" leather jacket. Truthfully, I could have lived without the flashy crystals on the back. I was looking for a decent fitting jacket for my size. Usually these jackets end somewhere just below your navel and are geared for the 20-30 something crowd. I'm in my 60's, short and heavy. The 2W fit beautifully in the chest ( I'm a 46/48 bra size) and was a nice length in the torso to where the hips are. The sleeve length was absoluetly PERFECT. Here are measurements for the size 2W in this style jacket. Length from base of collar to bottom is 26 1/2". Sleeve length from the tip of your shoulder down is 26". Measuring it flat across the front chest, arm pit to arm pit is 25". Across the back from shoulder tip to shoulder tip is 19 1/2. The jacket flares out at the bottom..... almost like an "A" line design, which helps the tummy & hip areas. The sleeves are "curved" for those women who ride their own scoot. It's easy to zip. The leather is NOT buttery soft like jackets made from lamb skin....but it is soft but with a solid feel to it. With the jacket on, really gives you a "slimming look" in all the right areas. All in all, a beautiful jacket....even for the mature woman, to wear riding or casually.

I've had this a couple weeks now. It's stiff as a board when new, but does break in after wearing it a few times. It's a tough thick leather, with a zip out liner and good armor. All the zippers are real metal YKK zippers. It could use a couple interior pockets, but this is a real all leather motorcycle jacket. It's not all soft & comfy right out of the box like the expensive ones, but for a C note it's not a bad deal at all. At 5'7" and 165 lbs. medium fits me well. Ride safe!

Pros -
-The coat fits well and looks smashing.
-Generally rugged and looks like it could take a beating or two (although I'm not about to find out on purpose).
-Air zippers on the back.
-Zip out liner.

Cons-
-I'm a little nervous about putting anything in the pockets due to the flimsiness of the material. Definitely no keys.
-Tried removing the armor on the shoulders. Just ended up stretching the material. Now the shoulder pad doesn't quite sit right without some flanagling.
-Zip out liner is starting to loose some of it's stitching already. WTF?

All in all what you would expect, I guess, from a $100 leather coat with armor. Not a bad purchase for the money but if you got the extra money to spend perhaps an upgrade is in order. If not, then I recommend this coat for it's comfort, style, and safety.

Product:
Excellent quality. I think there was a previous version of this jacket (-2009) that did not have the ability to add shoulder and elbow armour, but this one now does (sold seperately..."lightwieght body armour"). Reflective skull on back will keep cars back at night. Has reflective piping all over as well.

Vendor:
No issues, well known store, shipped promptly and in good condition, will buy from again.

I ordered this jacket for my husband's birthday. He knew what he was getting(He always does) and insisted he was a X-large. I was sure he was a 2Xtra-large (he's 6'4" and about 220lbs) but it was his birthday present so I ordered the X-large. When it came, sure enough,(hehe gloating just a little here)it was too small. We called Twin Cities Harley(TCHarley)and told them our problem. They were so helpful! They told us exactly what we needed to do to send it back and get the correct size. We are stationed overseas and thought this would take quite awhile but the new jacket came very quickly and my husband loves it.Thanks TCHarley!

I would have easily rated it 5 stars for the value, style, and comfort. The only issue I have with the jacket is that it isn't nearly as warm as I expected it to be. I typically start riding in the spring when it is 35 degrees in the morning and my old junk jacket was warmer. It's a 45 degree to 70 degree jacket which is great for most riders who don't get the itch quite so early in the spring. Again, it's a great high quality jacket.

I had a very different experience from the previous poster. I originally ordered a different, less expensive, jacket. I received exactly what I ordered and quickly. The jacket was too big and a smaller size in that model wasn't available. I followed the return instructions and was given a choice of refund or exchange. I got this jacket, good quality and fits perfectly, without any hassle even though it was an upgrade. I don't know how you could get more for your money; vented, thick leather and hard armor padding. I would recommend and do business with again.

Horrible experience- The vendor sent a jacket with a manufacturer's defect and even w/ numerous emails(including pictures of the defect) has never answered or accepted responsibility. I've had to dispute the charge. Total lack of service if anything is wrong w/ product- unprofessional, shouldn't be a vendor if can't deal w/ basic customer service. Beware of this seller!

I got this jacket a while ago, and I love it. I got it a size larger than I needed, just in case, and it fits like a charm. The waist is a bit bit, but the way I ride, its not a problem. The jacket is excellently ventilated, and is very comfortable on the road. I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone who rides.

The package arrived as scheduled but the jacket is actually bigger than labeled. The jacket was for my daughter's birthday. The ordered size was based on the merchant's table but it is either the table is wrong or the jacket is mislabeled. Earlier, I ordered another jacket for my other daughter of same size and it fitted her perfectly. Although I will get a full refund I would still be billed for the delivery and return costs. Waste of time and money.

This jacket is perfect for those chilly rides late at night during the beginning of the season or even just to keep you warm during the winter. This jacket is reinforced leather, there are no skid plates so it does not reduce mobility even with the thick liner inside. Without it the perforated vents up each sleeve provide excellent circulation. Though, keep in mind, this jacket does run somewhat small. I'm 6'2", 175lbs and a large fit is perfect and the only downside is if I ever did need to, there is no way I could fit a sweatshirt inside the liner and still move my arms. Also, the picture doesn't show it but there is also a design on the left tail edge of the jacket, a skull and cross bones. More or less, in the summer, riding or not, this jacket is perfect for keeping the chill out and in the winter, all you have to do is throw the liner in and, honestly, after that I dare you to try and make yourself cold. It has five pockets, most of which are easily accessible. The only two I ever had problems with were the hidden pocket on the chest and the one on the right sleeve. Oh, and I say hidden because the way the seams on the front of jacket run, I didn't realize there was even a pocket there until about three months after I had bought it. Anyway, the only times I ever had trouble getting to anything in these pockets was when I was sitting on the bike. While standing up, having a little more flexibility, it wasn't much of a problem. All in all, short of an accident of some sort, there's no way I'm getting rid of this thing.

I’m 6′2″, 175lbs and a large fit is perfect and the only downside is if I ever did need to, there is no way I could fit a sweatshirt inside the liner and still move my arms. Also, the picture doesn’t show it but there is also a design on the left tail edge of the jacket, a skull and cross bones. More or less, in the summer, riding or not, this jacket is perfect for keeping the chill out and in the winter, all you have to do is throw the liner in and, honestly, after that I dare you to try and make yourself cold.
jacket looks sexy, my only gripe with the jacket is that it fits looser around the gut, i had to get a XL to fit my shoulders but my gut fit a L, 38 waist, don't know what my shoulders are. other than that, i find the storage ample... it has a napoleon pocket where i keep my phone, then it has a kind of chest upper stomach pocket on the outside where i stick all my papers, two hand pockets with enoughs pace to for packs of smokes in each pocket (a little bulky but they fit). jacket is heavy duty, really well put together.
i haven't ridden in any terribly HOT weather with the jacket, but i used it through the winter in seattle, and i used it last Summer in seattle. with the vents open and all the perforated panelling i imagine the jacket would serve fine in hotter weather as long as your moving.
over all awesome jacket, i love it, would definitly reccomend

I purchased this jacket and it appear to be very nice leather nice lining but the sizes are off and the color was off its not a bone color it is very creamy yellish tone not a bone which i thought would look like a off white tone like in the pictures but its not. My other leather bomber jacket is a large so i got this in a X-large and it was to small. I just returned it and paying all the shipping its been a waste of time and money.

1) The black leather material (torso, shoulders, arms) is stitched together from small (2x2 inches or smaller) leather scrap pieces.
2) The jacket runs large - I wear L or XL, this jacket (size M) was 2 inches too wide in my shoulders
3) Beware of 20% restocking fee. It will cost another $14.19 (based on $70.95 selling price), should you choose to return it.

Jacket was returned in its original condition and I asked the seller politely to waive the restocking fee to which he eventually agreed. He also refunded the initial shipping costs which I didn't ask for.

I just got this jacket and I am sending it back because the color does not fit the discriptions of the on-line display or in their catalog. However, in the catalog it's item BGG8424 and they send out a replacement item, which is not the correct item on-line or in their catalog, which is misleading.
